Nice to see you here!
First off all, I suck at talking about myself. Or introducing myself. I would much rather talk about wine anyway 😉 So bear with me please.
Hi fellow winelover! My name is Anne. I am 27 years old and I live in Gouda. I am aware of the fact that to most people, Gouda is a type of cheese, so that might have you a bit confused. But I don’t live in a cheese, and I am trying to decide if that is a good or a bad thing, but I can’t make my mind up about it yet. Anyway, Gouda is a city in the Netherlands. And it’s where my home is.
You see, I have never come across a topic I wanted to know more about than wine. I want to unravel all its secrets, like: what kind of grapes does it consist of, what terroir has it seen, how did the winemaker treat it, what kind of food does it like to be around, and at what temperature is it most comfortable? I want to know it all. My love for wine (and food) is what led me to create W IS FOR WINE. It’s my happy place where I can go to once I have found the answers to all of my questions and I feel the need to share it with the world. So, thank you for being part of it!
So far, I have received my Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award in Wines And Spirits. I plan to do Level 3 next year.
I have to say, I am impressed that you have read all of the above and are now at the bottom of the page. If you would like to get in contact with me, please visit the CONTACT page on my blog.
